Custom-made B2B orders

Returns, claims and issue resolution

HFBrolly manufactures umbrellas to an agreed specification. Custom orders are handled differently from standard retail goods, so the approved artwork, sample, quotation and order documents form the basis of any review.

Important: This page provides general commercial guidance. The terms confirmed in your quotation, proforma invoice, sales contract or other written agreement take priority for that order.

1. Custom-made products

Umbrellas made with custom printing, colours, components, labels, packaging or other buyer-approved specifications cannot normally be returned simply because the buyer changes their mind, no longer needs the goods or ordered an unsuitable quantity.

2. Report an issue promptly

If goods appear damaged, incorrect or inconsistent with the approved specification, contact HFBrolly promptly. For visible delivery or quantity issues, notify us as soon as practical after receipt. Do not dispose of goods, cartons or labels before we have reviewed the evidence.

3. Information required for a claim

4. How we assess a claim

We compare the evidence with the written order specification, approved artwork, colour references, approved sample, agreed tolerances, inspection terms and shipping scope. Small manufacturing tolerances or documented differences between sample and bulk printing are not automatically defects.

5. Available resolutions

Where HFBrolly confirms responsibility, the appropriate resolution may include repair guidance, replacement of affected units, remake, credit or refund. The remedy depends on the nature, scale and commercial impact of the issue and any terms agreed for the order. No return should be shipped without written instructions from HFBrolly.

6. Transit damage and shortages

Record damaged cartons, shortages or visible carrier damage at delivery where possible. Responsibility depends on the agreed shipping terms and the point at which risk transfers. Keep the original packing and cooperate with any carrier or insurance claim.

7. Buyer-supplied information

HFBrolly is not responsible for problems caused by inaccurate buyer specifications, low-resolution artwork approved for production, incorrect delivery information, unapproved product use, improper storage, misuse, normal wear or alterations made after delivery.
