• Automatic open: Opens quickly with one button while remaining manually closed.
• Automatic open and close: Convenient for commuting, travel and premium corporate gifts. The canopy opens and collapses by button, while the shaft is pushed closed by hand.

The best option depends on your budget, target customer and required packed size. Automatic mechanisms add convenience, but frame quality and assembly are just as important as the opening function.

Sizes, Frames and Canopies

Compact umbrellas commonly use 21-inch to 23-inch ribs. Smaller models prioritise portability, while larger folding umbrellas provide more coverage. We can recommend a suitable balance between canopy diameter, folded length, weight and strength.

Wind resistance comes from the whole umbrella construction. Ribs, shaft, runner, joints, canopy tension and workmanship must work together. A strong-looking frame alone does not guarantee reliable performance.

Custom Printing and Branding

For simple logos and solid colours, screen printing is often the most economical choice. Digital printing is better for detailed artwork, gradients, photographs and full-panel designs. We can also Pantone-match canopy colours for suitable quantities and fabrics.

Branding options include multiple printed panels, full-canopy artwork, printed straps, customised sleeves, handle decals, woven labels, hangtags and retail packaging. If you send us the artwork and quantity, we will recommend a printing method that suits the design instead of forcing every project into the same process.

Quality Control

HFBrolly checks materials, printing, opening performance, stitching, appearance and packing during production. For automatic open-and-close umbrellas, we pay particular attention to the mechanism, runner, shaft and closing action. Specific inspection or testing requirements can be agreed before production.
